First, I’ll meet with you to get a full understanding of how your site flows, what your conversion events are, and how things have performed historically. This meeting be will followed with a questionnaire to help guide the optimization process. I’ll also review your sites’ analytics to understand historical and baseline performance.

2. Building the best solutions

After our meeting and a review of the questionnaire, I’ll walk you through your main conversion funnel and highlight the top opportunities to improve your conversion rates.

3. Recommendations to improve conversions

Finally, I’ll provide you with a proposal with specific site suggestions that can be used by you internally or by my team if you’d like me to run the tests. These recommendations will provide you with the foundation for your conversion strategy.

Website Testing

John Larson Marketing offers will use A/B Testing and Multivariate Testing to help test various elements on your website. Typically, this phase follows the Conversion Optimization Review (above). Whether you need help deciding what to test or just need help running a test of your own, I can help you follow best practices to ensure your tests help provide you with the data needed to make informed decisions about your website.

Site User Testing

Incorporating user testing in the process will provide invaluable information on how users interact with your website. I will help you develop a real-life scenario with specific tasks for your audience to complete. Next, users relevant to your business will be identified based on demographics (age, gender, income, geo-location, etc.) and sent to your website. The site visitors’ actions will be tracked as they follow your conversion process, allowing us a view of your website’s strengths and weaknesses.
